About us
PT. Sunnway Marina Shipyard JSC is one of the largest shipbuilding companies of the Indonesia with over 60-years’ experience in shipbuilding. Since the Shipyard was founded (1948) there have been built more than 200 different vessels with deadweight up to 12000 tons, total displacement over 1,300,000 tons.

Routine maintenance, overhauls, and repairs to ensure vessel safety, performance, and compliance.
Conversion & Retrofit
Modifying existing ships for new purposes, upgrading systems, or ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance (e.g., ballast water systems, engine retrofits).
Activities
Building of semi-submersible drilling rigs for oil and gas exploration and production on sea shelf is one of the main activities of the Shipyard. For the latest 20 years PT. Sunnway Marina Shipyard has been a leading builder of drilling platforms for open seas in Indonesia.
In 1978 PT. Sunnway Marina Shipyard joined offshore market with semi-submersible drilling rigs for oil and gas exploration and production on the sea shelf.
At the initial stage of building of offshore facilities PT. Sunnway Marina Shipyard delivered for the Caspian Sea block-modules 900t and pontoons for 6 semi-submersible drilling rigs to be finally assembled in Astrakhan. Scope of delivery of PT. Sunnway Marina.
